Vintage Stripes in Spring
Okay so calling this dress “vintage” might be a bit of a stretch. I don’t actually know how old it is. It’s from a friend’s closet. One of those “I think you’ll like this and I’m not wearing it anymore” kind of dresses. Which can sometimes make some of the best looks. Like this one right here! Another way to rock my favorite Sam Edelman flats in a whole different way. This look is much more suited for a casual day. Vintage stripes and some contemporary details make this look a new favorite for my closet!
Now that it’s spring, I’m really looking forward to all the glory that is summertime in Chicago. We got a taste of it last weekend when I got to adventure to Corridor with my gal Stephanie and our pups, Tonks and Ozzy. Beer flights, patio, some shopping on the adorable Southport Corridor [with so many dog-friendly places!] and some good quality friendship time in the wonderful weather.
Not to mention the beach walk, dog park, and spring cleaning. This is one of my favorite times of year when I can really enjoy being out and about and not be overhot. We’re coming out of our cocoons from winter and ready to rock this warm weather.
Cheers to giving new life to old dresses!
