Wedding Day | The Photos
You’ve seen the getting ready pictures. Now enjoy the proper photos. We did our photos before the ceremony so we could properly enjoy our own cocktail hour. Best. Idea. Ever. I was handed a whiskey sour as soon as we finished the ceremony and was able to enjoy it! So if you’re able to do photos between getting ready and ceremony, I HIGHLY recommend it.
Nobody will be surprised to see that we included the dogs in our shoot. Zoe will continue into our ceremony photos but Tonks went home after this. Still, I’m so happy I had them both there. Shoutout to Stephanie & Ozzy’s Crew for dog handling. She made our wedding day perfect with the pups without the worry of being in Dog Mom mode all day.
We took photos outside of Mayne Stage, our venue. Then headed over to Loyola Beach for some more photos. Because this beach bum will ALWAYS incorporate a beach wherever I can. These photos also include some of my favorite candids as well as the posed/staged ones. And, after all, isn’t that the mark of a good photographer? Be able to capture all of the moments of wedding day, not just the staged stuff. Enjoy the scroll and be sure to check back next week for the final installment of my wedding series — The Ceremony.

Dogs literally always cause a flood of giggles.

I have a special bond with little Zoe so I needed some photos of just Mama and Zo. She’s less than thrilled but this is my favorite shot of us.

Of course I took some solo photos with my girls.

Right after our first look. Isn’t she gorgeous?

Whole Crew, Mayne Stage.

The whole crew outside of the venue.

Walking to the beach with flower girl, Sagan.

No matter the occasion, no matter the day, I will ALWAYS ask to pet your dog. And Sagan agrees.

Walking to the beach.

“okay, everyone let those two go in front”

Whole crew. Beachside!

Our flower girls are some of the best little ones around. Truth.

Now KISS

Yep. She’s amazing. I love her. End of story.

While we took some couple photos at the beach, our second shooter took the attendants to the park for some other photos. We didn’t even know these existed until we got the final album.

Walking back to the venue and trying to save our skirts.
