Hair Life | Wash n Go Waves
When it comes to hair, I have two settings: lots of time spent or zero time spent. Middle ground isn’t really an option for me.
I’ve discovered the joy of OUAI Brand hair products and I’m never going back. They’re an amazing brand with beautiful design, spectacular products, an amazing snapchat, and the best smelling dry shampoo I think ever. I’m obsessed.
Ready for an awesome guide on how to create some really easy waves with OUAI hair products? Let’s go.
Step One: OUAI Dry Shampoo
Take the dry shampoo and apply it all over your ROOTS. Only the roots. This will add a little bit of texture up there, soak up any grease if you’re on day two (or three… or four…) and keep your locks feeling fresh.
And work it in. Give your scalp a little mini-massage while you let the dry shampoo really get into the roots and get that grease out of there.
Step 2: Argan Oil
Take a single dropper-full of this liquid gold, rub it between your palms, and apply to your ENDS. This will give it some extra love while you’re rocking your waves and create an amazing pieciness that looks great.
Work it in really well. I’ve got lots of layers so this can take a little bit but I promise, it will pay off.
Step 3: OUAI Wave Spray
I swear to you, this spray is my new hair Holy Grail. It’s a great way to freshen up styled hair [read: day after wedding mess + wave spray = sexy beachy look!] or create a brand new look from clean hair. And it smells so amazing I can’t even begin to explain it. This was one of two products I brought with me on my honeymoon and the one I used most.
You’re going to spritz this throughout the MID-SECTION and ENDS of your hair. Don’t be shy with this stuff.
Scrunch your hair up and encourage those waves. And then let your hair sit for a bit. Let the wave spray dry, the oil absorb, and the fabulosity begin.
That’s it! You’ve got amazing waves that were super easy to make and that will last you all day. This has been my go to for the last few weeks, especially since I’m trying to hibernate as much as possible from the cold. It takes way less time to do this in the morning than any other kind of styling.
Below I’ve got the OUAI products I used here as well as a few of the ones on my wish list including their hair oil, curl shampoo and conditioner, and the soft mousse. They’re all great!
