Swimsuit Hack | One Pieces for Long Torsos
You know what I love? One piece swimsuits. You know what I hate? Shopping for one piece swimsuits.
Hi, my name is Dannie and I have a very long torso.
No but for real, the moment one pieces had over summer was fantastic. I loved how everyone was trying them out and abandoning the belief that only certain body types can wear them. They can be sexy and slinky and the most amazing way to rock the beach ever.
But having a long torso legitimately made finding a good one impossible. I would try on one size because it fit my chest and suddenly be wearing a thong. Or I would find one that fit my girth and it would sag everywhere. This was a major problem. With so many cute patterns and styles to pick from, I was distraught!

So I decided to try something completely different. The leotard swimsuit!
I still have leotards in my wardrobe from my ballet days. Leotards are MADE for people with long torsos! So I threw one on that felt and looked vaguely like a swimsuit. And boom! Swimsuit!
Obviously, this can’t be a hack for everyone. Leotards can be very expensive and, if you’re not going to ballet every day, might not be worth the investment. But for those of us who just want to enjoy a sleek black one-piece that has an interesting back or still has some semblance of style, this is the winner.
I’ve linked some great leos that would make an amazing one piece swimsuit as well!
