Local Fashion, Local Blogger | Fabrik Wicker Park + Chicago Reader
Last week, I was somehow gifted with possibly the greatest surprise I’ve ever received. A friend messaged my wife on facebook to show that she’d found my blog in the wild of the internet. And… uhh… you guys, it was [somehow] nominated for “Best local fashion blog or blogger” for Chicago Reader’s Best of Chicago 2017.
WHAT IS THIS MAGIC?!
This is the exact face I made:
I seriously have no idea how I ended up there or anything but I’m incredibly blown away. I’m just here doing my thing and sharing stuff I love with y’all and someone out there thinks it’s the best? Well, I guess a lot of someones.
So I have to make the request of those of you reading today:
It would mean the world to me if you could click this link and vote for my blog. how cool would it be to say this blog was the best local fashion blog in Chicago? I don’t know about you but that might make my entire blogging career.
And speaking of local fashion… Did you catch these pants?
They’re basically the best and from a local boutique that I love more and more every single day. Fab’rik is a store in Wicker Park that might be my favorite boutique in the entire city for a few reasons.
- They sold me these pants. And that, I think, is reason enough BUT…
- They’re dog friendly. Guys, I brought Zoe with me and she shopped with me and wooed all the awesome employees there.
- They LOVE bloggers. Anyone that loves bloggers is good in my book. And should be in yours, too.
- Every single piece that I tried on was amazing. Everyone at the store is super knowledgable about how things fit as they try everything on themselves! Talk about knowledgable staff.
Basically, they’re the best and if you’re local, you need to go shop there. Rumor has it we’ve got some exciting stuff coming up this summer, too. But you didn’t hear it from me!
Here’s that link one more time to vote for me. It would mean the world!
