If you’re subscribed to my email list, you’ll know that I’ve been super struggling with my body image lately. I haven’t felt pretty or confident or any of those other words people so often use. I’ve always struggled with these things. Lately, though, the struggle has been more difficult than usual. Sometimes it takes as little as one bad photo to set the whole balance off. Being a blogger, I can’t even begin to tell you how many bad photos there are. Sometimes, we laugh at them. Sometimes I just delete them and chalk it up to a misfire on the camera. But once in a while there’s that one photo. And I know you know exactly the one I’m talking about. I’ll spare you the details.
One Jumpsuit Can Change Everything
Looking back through my Paso Robles photos, though, I found this shoot. This shoot is what some of the girls called “hot.” It’s a shoot that I genuinely felt pretty during, one that the awesome photographer said she really enjoyed doing. When I got home, Sarah said she loved them, too. Basically, it’s the shoot my self-esteem and depression needed right now. So I’ve been saving them. And I’m so glad I did.
The whole look is made from pieces I already had in my closet. Simply combine pieces one wouldn’t ordinarily use, add fun accessories, and boom! One brand new look coming right up. It helps that the jumpsuit is one of my favorite articles of clothing. I’ve had this particular jumpsuit for a while now and I really don’t wear it enough. Cheers to wearing it more often.
I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Enjoy. I know I do.
